Ms. Julie's Class

GENERAL CLASSROOM INFORMATION:

• Class begins at 8:30 am with the first bell at 8:25 am.  Please be on time!  After 8:30 am you must go to the office for a tardy.  If you are late to school, please walk with your child to the office and then classroom.
• Pre-K 3 and 4 Dismissal is at 1:30 pm:

• Car Riders can be picked up in the front of the school
• Ms. Erika will walk the Extended Day children to designated room
• Kindergarten Dismissal is from 2:45pm - 3:00 pm:
  • Bus Riders dismissal will begin at 2:45 pm
  • Car Riders will be walked to the front of the school at 2:55pm

NOTE: If your child rides the Bus, please make sure you place a large piece of tape on their back with their bus # and stop for the first two weeks of school. 

If your child changes their normal way home, I must be notified with a note or a phone call to the classroom otherwise they must go home their normal way.  Also, please send a note if someone else will be picking up your child from school.

 Change of Clothes: Make certain that your child has an extra change of clothes in case of emergencies.  If for some reason that change of clothes comes home please send another set of clothes the next day.

 Lunch: Our class will eat lunch from 10:40 am - 11:10 am.  If your child is new to Axson and will be buying a lunch the first week of school please send money with them each day in a Ziploc bag with their name on it.  If your child is returning you can add money to their account either by sending in money or at mylunchmoney.com.  New students can register for mylunchmoney.com by knowing our school number which is 141 and their child's student number (I can provide this information).  It is simple and super efficient!!  The cost for lunch is $1.60 and for breakfast it is $1.00.  Please note that mylunchmoney.com does charge a $1.95 transaction fee for each transaction deposit.

PreK Needs: The front office needs a copy of your child's most current shot records, physical forms, and birth certificate ASAP.

Allergies: Please let me know if your child has any allergies or medical condition ASAP. 

Daily Behavior: Our behavior system is tracked by the children wearing clothes pins and when they make a bad choice, they lose their clip.  All children that keep their pin throughout the entire day, will be rewarded with a sticker.  Please reinforce their accomplishments and encourage continual great behavior by recognizing the sticker and making a BIG DEAL out of it.

Objects: Please keep your eyes out for small objects in your child's pockets.  If they come home, please return them to the school.  These are part of our classroom materials.  Please remind your child to keep all their toys at home!
